Set up MailHero

1. Install MailHero and grant the requested Google permissions.
2. Open a Gmail conversation and select the MailHero icon in the side panel.
3. Choose Analyze, AI Reply, or Save to Notion. MailHero acts only after you make a selection.
4. Optionally connect Notion and select an authorized page or database.

Common fixes

The add-on is missing

Refresh Gmail, reopen the right side panel, and confirm MailHero is installed for the Google Account currently active in Gmail.

A request timed out

Try again with the latest message or a shorter thread. Long AI requests can exceed the add-on response window.

Notion content is unavailable

Reconnect Notion, authorize the required page, refresh the destination list, and select the database again.

A custom AI provider fails

Use Test connection in Advanced settings and confirm the base URL, model identifier, and OpenAI-compatible chat response format.

Your data choices

MailHero reads only the Gmail conversation you explicitly open. It never scans your inbox, sends mail automatically, or saves content to Notion without your action.

You can revoke Google or Notion access at any time. Account and hosted metadata deletion requests can be sent to support from the email address associated with your account.
